I don't know about my best photo but this is my best recent photo of one of my favourite subjects. The skeletal remains of the once finest pier anywhere, the West Pier in Brighton, England captured at sunset. A tough latter life of neglect, arson and the elements have transformed it into an enigmatic sculptural form:

I nominate this photo. The beautiful light and colors, along with the long exposure create a surreal image of this relic on an seemingly infinite plane.
