I started to ignore this photo because seriously, how many photos of a rose can you look at in one lifetime...
and then I looked at it and I couldn't look away.

I thought "Georgia O'Keefe"!

Then I thought some more about the subtle shading and the texture that is still visible in the petals and then
I realized that I love this photo and I would love to look at it every day~thank you so much for this photo~!

I nominate this photo, for all of the reasons before and all of the reasons that I will think of every time I look
at it again & see it anew...the photo draws me in the way a hypnotist would~
