This is great. It's almost biblical with the symbolic light (flare) and the earth covered in water. Too bad it's a gull and not a dove.

Fantastic capture - a clear nomination from me! I wonder whether the bird was added in the post or not ?? It seems almost unbelievable that it would be captured like - especially with so wide angle the bird would need to be like a meter away from the camera to be that big ( the placement of it also feels a bit man-made so to speak ) - or am I over-thinking this shot ?

Hey manntax, you're right, the gull and the water were separate images, taken at the same time of the day and the same location. With a little help of PS I made it to my (aparently and others) liking But the seagull was real.
