I like it too - as far as I know these creatures are falling inside themselves ( if that makes sense ) when touched with anything so I guess that little fella was touched by this flawer ( deliberately by you ? ) and hence got his face suck back inside - taking a piece of that petal with it

I nominate this for a keen eye and nice idea - not perfectly executed but very inspiring !

an awesome macro shot! i just watched a video on youtube this morning of a snail eating a worm... your shot has brought a whole new angle to snails and their lives to my mind
