Burn my shadow
Lens: 21Ltd Camera: K5IIs

Hello,

I did a photo series called "Burn my shadow" (https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/41-photo-critique/255002-people-burn-my-shadow.html) a while ago.
It was hard to pick just one photo, but I believe this one is the best.

Enjoy!

I nominate this photo.

I nominate this photo.

Looks like a scene from a movie.
Nice composition and framing, very moody.

Cheers,
Ricardo

I cannot believe there is no more nominations here - I absolutely love the composition, dark tones and the story - maybe a bit too obvious but still a good good attempt! The only thing I would probably change is to remove or get rid of in any other way in the post processing that reflection of her hand in the second mirror - I would prefer to have it simple dark gradient instead - but that's me :P

A nomination from me for sure

This photo is brilliantly flawed just like the humans depicted.
I want to read the book or watch the film that tells me the
rest of their story. So many things draw my eye into their
world...her fingers on the blinds, looking for what?
his hands slamming the magazine into the gun, why?
There is so much tension, this picture tells a thousand
words....NOMINATED.

I nominate this photo.

For the same reasons that have been mentioned already.

She does not appear to look through the gap in the blinds, but that's a small niggle.

P.S.: There some other very nice ones in your series, but I agree you picked the best for this contest.

A small niggle, but well spotted one! You have a good eye

I nominate this photo. Great work with the mirrors, nice composition and did you use any but natural lighting?

I nominate this photo. It's evocative and tells an unfinished story.

I really like this but for some reason it just seems she should have a cigarette in one hand to really complete the image. Have just started looking at photo's so can't nominate just yet.

I had this idea to use a cigarette, but then I thought that cigarettes aren't as cool as they used to anymore (quite the opposite I believe)
