Great shot. And a great story. Grumpy was probably not shooting with a Pentax. I get a lot of snooty looks when I engage non pentaxians. Yet, you got the shot over grumpy I am certain. Nomination from me!

The week I was in Gettysburg I met one other person with a Pentax, I recognized it right away because it was the white "storm trooper" kx and it was not Mr.Grumpy. I would like to think there were other Pentaxians there, I just did not see them. Thank you for the nomination

I haven't been to Gettysburg in many years....this is a great shot and in my opinion is worthy of a frame!

I nominate this one. Are those colors the heat of artillery? great shot. Nice perspective of the canon.

I just realize I made laudatory comments about this impressive shot, but didn't know the mechanism for nomination. I nominate it. One of the best photos I've seen in a long time - it tells a story, is perfectly composed, and is immediately striking. Good show all around.
