Spooked
Lens: Cosina 55mm f1.2 Camera: K-3

After noticing the small birds in this tree, I managed to get closer and set up my manual lens before they launched.

The blownout sky actually works here.. makes it look more like an art work than a simple photograph. I nominate it.

The contrast and implied motion make this work. Great detail. I nominate this photo.

Very good shot indeed ! I agree the sky blown out makes the subjects stand out ! Very interesting composition and I love that you've managed to freeze their motion and also kept them all in frame - well done ! A nomination from me as well !

Thanks, I was just lucky that they waited 'til I was completely ready to shoot before they bolted.

I nominate this photo - it took an incredible amount of skill to set this up and gather so much detail in the motion of the birds just before they scatter. Excellent job!
