This is a shot taken just about 1/2 hour after sunrise with my Pentax K5 at the Androscoggin Walking Bridge in Brunswick, Maine on a brutally cold, but very still and windless morning. It was about -5 degrees and the river must've been a lot warmer, because as I drove by, I could see massive amounts of mist rising over 20 feet above the water to surround the bridge, which dates to the 1890s. I ran out on it, and found that hoarfrost coated the entire bridge and every surface, tree branch and grass along the banks of the river. It looked like a fairy castle!
