This is my submission for the K-3 contest. Taken in Khiva in Uzbekistan spring 2013

For a many years me and my wife wanted to travel (part of) the Silk Road. Attracted by beautiful stories and architecture mostly surprised by the hospitality and friendliness of the people we met.
This was in Khiva. Beatiful walled city of yesteryear...
