The lines, the silvery grays,
the subject, the composition.

I nominate this photo. Excellent timing to avoid the wheel spokes blurring her face. Her expression and tones and textures go very well together.

I nominate this photo. Didn't see the first one, so just on this image. It's a great capture off a working woman in probably a workshop making stuff for tourists. Great black and white setting and great dynamics in the image.

The first photo & the one I nominated, is the black & white of a woman working at a cotton spinning wheel.
It was then changed to a color photo/portrait of centenarian.
I am glad Chesebert changed it back to the original black & white woman & cotton spinner.
It is a divine photograph!

Thank you all so much for your nomination. In most of my street photos, the people tend to look indifferent or are otherwise pissed or not presented in their best light. This one is a rare capture of someone who appears to truly enjoy what she is doing and is just being happy.
