Canon Sparks
Lens: SMC-F 50mm f/1.7 Camera: K-5

I was out and about the other day, and happened upon a demo of firing a "Napoleon" 18 lb. canon that they would be shooting off twice. So, I got my camera out, and knew I only had 2 chances. This was my best result. Hope it brings some enjoyment to the contest.

Good luck to all!

Nominated . Never shoted a photo to a firing canon.
The effect is great. And I like the expression of the guys on the left going away: having fun.

I think you guys are jaded, er.....at least your spelling: cannon >noun (pl. usu. same) 1 a large, heavy piece of artillery formerly used in warfare. 2 an automatic heavy gun that fires shells from an aircraft or tank. >verb chiefly Brit. (cannon into/off) collide with forcefully or at an angle.
-ORIGIN Italian cannone 'large tube', from Latin canna 'cane'. The other (canon) is a camera brand amongst other meanings.
The pic is great either way tho".

That's funny... I had not meant to do that when I posted... I sold cameras at my last job, and primarily Canon cameras, and since I rarely talk about "cannons", I didn't even think about the spelling. But your right, of course. Thanks for pointing that out through... rather amusing.
