While walking through the woods at the Beaverhill Bird Observatory in Alberta, I was struck by how tightly the aspen were grouped.

Wow - that's simple wonderful shot! Gives a true real - almost tactual - impression of being in the middle of these amazing trees ! A superb shot totally deserving my nomination! I love composition and the processing is very modest, not over-processed. Very good shot !

I harvest many wild mushrooms under the aspen.
The big-tooth. The trembling.
The poplars.
I have a kinship with them.
