Night Sky over Möbius Arch

Conjunction of Venus with the Pleiades over Möbius Arch, Alabama Hills, Lone Pine, Ca. A bright waxing moon allowed me to stop down to F5.6 to bring both the stars and arch in focus. https://www.flickr.com/photos/cbernhardt/14249539295

Sunlight reflected off the moon is a brilliant lighting tool,
how long was your exposure?

Thanks for the comments. The exposure was 30 seconds which resulted in a little star trailing. If I was toning to do again, probably shot for 20 seconds and open the aperture about 1/2 stop to compensate. ISO was 1600, but with a good moonlight exposure, noise was not much an issue for my Pentax K5.

Also the lens was the Pentax DA 12-24 F4.

A side story is when I submitted this for my local photography group for competition, the judges did not score it very high because they interpreted it as a bad white balance day shot with a Photoshopped night sky. I guess they need to get out of their studios and try a little night photography themselves.
