The Kiss
Lens: Zuiko 40-150mm Camera: E-1

I'm shy. I usually let strangers be strange without having me point a camera in their business. This shot was underexposed and slated for the trash can before I realized that I had caught a truly natural moment of affection. Humm... a little black and white might work. Clone out that distracting family gawking at the waterfall. Dodge a few rocks & burn a few streams of water and light.

The couple was far from me, and I'm shy. I didn't even know it was a keeper and worth the work until I got home (LCDs in those days...). I keep entering this shot in contests hoping someone will say "that was me!" I think people like the spontaneity of a real kiss and someday maybe I'll make contact and give this picture to the couple on the bridge.

Great photo - the scene pictured could well be a frame from a romantic film ! I love the setting , that waterfall and the bridge looks indeed as a perfect spot for having a kiss - and you've managed to edit it nicely - getting rid of the distractions and enhancing the charm of that moment - well done. Wonderful BW conversion. Here is my nomination, - glad I spotted and nominated it as a first one

I nominate this photo. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this wonderfull photo capturing true love as it is in the life off people. It is an old image, otherwise we probably would see them taking a selfie at this moment. Good luck on finding the couple.

I nominate this photo. I can feel a kind of "drama" watching at it.

Nice John! Totally Rivendell.

Oh my, I should straighten the bridge. Why didn't I notice that? But wait, the bridge is straight--it's the picture that's crooked! Oh well, could have had a K-3.

Thanks for the nominations and valuable comments.
