Wooly Bear
Lens: PentaxD FA Macro 100mm Camera: Pentax K-5

Once I spotted this Wooly Bear caterpillar, I moved him to the roof of my car so I could be at eye level with him. He was covered in dirt and the wind was blowing him all over the place. I was only able to take a few shots before putting him back among the foliage.

I nominate this photo. It looks a little plasticly, some toy from a store, offcourse made in China. Nice photo.

This is mad. Its a weird looking insect allright, but when you remove it from its natural habitat and shoot a photo like this on top of your car, it doesn't look like a living thing at all. I nominate this photo.

Enjoyable photo... interesting bug! I see these little guys sometimes on the road at dusk.. guess they like the warmness. Wonderful colors (of which you can't take much credit haha), mirror effect, and composition.. nominated.

I nominate this photo!

Clear, crisp focus of a teeny tiny fuzzy wuzzy! Also love how the background is just a lovely grey blur thanks to the shallow DOF and zoom-in-ness of it all.
