Timber Wolf in the "Sainte Croix" park in France. He came at approximatively 2-3 meters and fixed a women in the eyes during her shooting ( with a compact.... gaaahh !). I put myself behind her and shot.

Picture taken with a Pentax K-R and the Pentax smc DA 55-300mm f/4-5.8 ed

Lucky, it seems this was one of the nice line of wolves and not one of the aggressive ones. Not lucky that you got the shot. You are a true photographer at heart and brave albeit hiding behind the woman. Nominated.

Always put a woman or - if you do not have a woman at the moment - a child, between you and the wild animal !
