Pentax K-3 Contest Round 2 Voting

Wow, thank you so much to whoever voted for me! That is much appreciated! Congrats to everyone who made it through; it was a fine gallery of photos by everyone in this round. :-)

Thanks for the kind words on my admission. Well you could only vote for four images, and then it is hard to collect votes for most of the contestend. We had a discussion between three Dutch photographers, still in the competition, on wich photo's would go on to the next stage. So I made a list and 17 of the 32 went on to the next round and the upper 10 I had a lot of them on my lost. So to me there is a good result on the voting, an yes probably all of us would like to be at least on #32 and continu.

I wasn't totally sure if people who put something like "nominated" or "voted" in an entry on a photo actually voted or if they thought that was there vote. Anyway, it is all good. Good luck to those who go on. Sounds like more photography and less post processing in the next round.

Although my photo didn't cut it - I am very grateful to those few person who decided to vote for my entry (#16) - I value your votes extremely high and consider them to be a great compliment of my idea and the execution of it...

I want to take this time to thank everyone who voted forme. I neverimagined making it to the final round. I felt that each photo submitted was trulyexceptional in its own right and I was truly honored to have a photo of mine in this group.

I would like to add that for me this whole experience hasbeen both challenging and rewarding. This last challenge with its manyinterpretations of themes, gave me the inspiration to step outside my owncomfort zone. I had never worked with a theme before and in doing so, it forcedme to really think about taking a photograph that expressed and communicated my chosen theme andI learned to do something that I had never tried to do before. The experiencealso made it necessary for me become really familiar with my camera and itscapabilities (unfortunately though the K5 did suffer a setback; the dreadedlens lock button fell off).
Thank you again to allwho voted for me.
