Nice collection of insect photos. I'm not fond of spiders but you did a great job!

Very cool. Are these hand-held or tripod/monopod? I presume a flash is used.

I'm intrigued by the fruits those bugs are perched on. What are they? Are they edible. The look like blueberries but
the leaves look all wrong.

Wow!!! What supper pictures, just goes to show that the K10D was (is) certainly a very capable camera. Maybe the Tamron 90mm should also go on my wish list.

I am assuming the camera was on a tripod and which flash were you using?

Yes - Baby mantis and spider are in the Blue berries


Tamron 90mm BBAR + Vivitar 2x Tele Macro adapter = 180mm + Crop factor = Hard to hold steady ... Very hard ! = Lots of soft shots or out of focus shots , such is life . Advantage is lots of zoom , further away from subjects , lower F stop required and more opportunity as you don't need to push a camera so deep into an insects personal space ...
