The bloodroot + ladybug is especially nice. I would crop it to near square, but I'm generally a ruthless cropper. Part of my B&W darkroom/enlarger experience.

A Dull Day

Cross Posted, something which brightened my day, “Femme Fatale” (Pentax-A 50mm F2.8 Macro).

Wild Strawberry or Alpine Strawberry. A large one would be about 1 cm. (about .4 inch). I saw this Wild Strawberry plant with ants while I was practicing handheld macro shooting with flash. The first picture shows the strawberry with a flower and an ant. The second was a flower with several ants. These ants were very small, I am guessing a 1/32 inch to 1/62 inch - less the .1 to maybe .05 cm

Not quite macro but the bokeh and contrast is rather nice;

Again, not really macro, but the sunflare is a nice welcome addition;

Proper macro this time;

I have to say, I'm really impressed with how the SMC A series 50mm F1.7 performs on the K-1, such a odd combination of a $3k body and a $50 lens, hehehe.
