This flower, a voluntary, comes up profusely in one of my gardens every year, but I have yet to determine its name.

We had a volunteer pumpkin sprout in our front yard... Must have seeded itself after our Halloween decorations were "taken care of" by the neighborhood kids...
The main subject here is the honey bee, but figured it was worth a post anyways - the picture would be incomplete without the pumpkin flower magnifying the color of the morning sun!

No filter. The "pastel" effect probably result of the rendering of the 35 limited combined with the diffraction brought on by stopping the lens way down (f18 and f22).
