What is your secret to get a fly to stay still that long? Is it a pet or dead?

Love your macros mate! Great inspiration to go out and take more and hopefully better macro shoots.

Just move slowly so as not to startle them .. I got two shots , and it took off , it flew a short distance and I got in a third shot ..
And then I decided to leave it alone as previewing the third shot , showed the angle to be bad ..

I have been bending too much this week , backs a little sore , so need to give the Camera a bit of a rest . Otherwise my back might go out !
But certainly , everyone please give it a go .. For the longest time I never noticed insects , but after taking up Macro Photography , its like a crazy new world out there ..
