Very interesting. That must be a different variety of cauliflower than we have; ours doesn't look anything like that except the color.

Very nice! Funny, but I've never thought about doing macros of some of the more interesting veggies. I really like this one!

I believe it's a Cauliflower Flower.

Maybe. According to my reading, the cauliflower "curd" *is* the flower of the cauliflower plant but it is harvested before it opens up. The image may well be of one that has been allowed to mature past the normal harvest time. There are hundreds of varieties and hybrids including red, purple, orange, yellow, green and white. There is at least one variety in which the curds form whirls and peaks, a "fractal" texture rather than the cloud like texture of the common form. It's an interesting plant.
