Humans stereotypically "eat for two" when pregnant. That spider looks like it's all set to hatch out several thousand baby spiders, so yes, always hungry.

Eating with style too. The spider caught the hover fly lampooning on the flower of a buttercup. I only just missed the spider taking its prey inside the buttercup flower. Bummer.
