You're making us Northern Hemisphere guys jealous. Though 34C is pretty warm...

The warm weather has the mantis moving about quite a bit ..
There was one in my brothers car this morning , so I moved it into some nice cool green shrubs ...

36 C yesterday, 37 C today, 41 C tomorrow, 35 C Sunday. Current forecast of 40 c for Xmas day.

That might help you to feel less jealous and more psyched for some beautiful snowscapes!

I'm getting an underwater camera and will be sharing pics of my stingray and shark mates as soon as it is paid off. : )

BTW here's the case for actually coming to Melbourne mid-winter:

Feels like a true Ozzi Xmas on the way ...
Seriously hot , lots of flies , and maybe a serious bushfire ... ( Thank goodness the flies are not so bad yet )

This much heat just dries everything , followed by more heat . Just makes the Ozzi bush as sensitive to flame as black powder !
I know lots of Australians like beach weather , I prefer cool and wet ..
Unfortunately this continent is a lot like a hotplate , once it warms there is no where to hide ...

Was 47 at Port Augusta in SA today. Makes 40 quite mild. Meanwhile in Adeliade we have had a couple of 43's this week, including today. Cool change slowly coming through this evening.

Hmmmm . 47 would be brutal , But 40 will never be mild ...
I dont envy SA in the least ...

I'm still waiting for that 50+ Day , and this summer could be the one ...
