Back in the swing of things, the early bees are busy with all the trees in bloom.

Andrena on cherry:

Colletes inaequalis female waiting for the right guy to visit.

Colletes inaequalis male looking for the right female.

Another patrolling near the nests.

Another Colletes on redbud. I'm pretty happy with how well this turned out.

according to the pics' EXIF data, he used a Pentax FA MACRO 100mm F2.8 lens...

Yup, the "beercan" FA100 f2.8. A great lens.
