Oooh. Nice Lens! Try and get your hands on the 55mm f2.8 one, I love using it. It's usually under Vivitar, Panagor, Elicar VHQ, and probably soligor. Great Shots!

I have the 55, great lens, that's why I wanted the 90. Had been looking for one for a while and found this one in the marketplace. The 90 gives me a little more room for small insects without scaring them away.

After using the Vivitar 90 macro for a few days now, I can say I'm not that impressed with the sharpness. I think my old Pentax 100 f4 macro is sharper, although it only does 1:2. I also have the 55mm version of the Vivitar and I think it is also sharper than the 90, it does go 1:1, but working distance is a problem for some of the more skittish bugs.

Just received the same lens today. Took some quick shots with it and so far I like it.
