I've had a fascination with them since I was a kid. Think I had a quart jar full of the cast-off exoskeletons one year when I was in grade school.

Thanks Roger! We seem to have two types here (possibly more, but I've seen two types often) these bright green ones and then also a browny-black one. The green ones are the smaller of the two.

Nice. The color of the leaf and cicada compliment each other well. You've also got an interesting pattern on the leaf as well.
