Dangerous beauty

This is called Chromatic pool. It is a natural hot spring and the water comes from beneath the surface. You can see the rising steam in the picture. These beautiful colors are because of different bacteria living on the surface.

Picture is taken in Yellowstone national park. Yellowstone is a super-volcano sitting on top of more than 3000 sq miles of hot magma chamber.
