Any chance I could change mine to the Tamron 75-300 f/4-5.6 LD Lens? It was the DA 40 but I have realized the only thing I can compare that to is the A 50mm f/1.7, and that's not much of a comparison. With the Tamron I could compare it to the Pentax 55-300, f/4-5.8. Please let me know, thanks!

I think you should stick with the Pentax- one lens for comparison and good tests should be good- check the FA 50mm review!

But I don't own the FA 50mm, so how would I go about making accurate tests?

I would like to review either Pentax DA 12-24 or the Pentax DA 35 f/2.8 Macro, from what I can tell neither has been suggested approved.

Compare it to your a lens, and just use some standalone chart tests (comparisons aren't everything)

Sure- which of the two would you like?

I got the 12-24 about four months and this would give me chance to really check it out. I would like to review the DA 12-24.

Update: both the 40mm and the 12-24mm are already taken. You should contact the current reviewers, and if they back out, you can pick up the review. Sorry for overlooking this!

Would you please show us html source code for the current review to help us write the review in html? The guideline is useful but is not enough for the frist-timer writing the html code. Thanks.

Stephen H. Westin provides a his own version of resolution test chart for free-download, if you were interested in incorperating the standard test into your reviews.
