the Pentax k-x is a amazing camera it has every feature that pro cameras have like max iso of 12800 and 4.7fps continues shooting while the nikon and canon cameras in the pentax k-x's class only have around 3.5 another great thing about the pentax k-x is the HD video and live view one thing this camera dosent have is auto focus points in the view finder but overall this camera is so much better than other cameras in its class i was going to get the nikon d5000 for my first dslr but then i saw the pentax k-x it is a great first DSLR and another great thing it is compatible with every pentax lens ever made and has image stableisation in the body so you dont have to pay hundreds of dallers more for vr or is great camera
