sorry aeros, i didn't mean to detract your entry. i was just asking a question about what is allowable in this or any contest. i have never participated in any of them (new forums user, but lifetime pentax user) so haven't checked old contests.
as a designer, i also use brushes and paints, airbrush and enamel, metal forge, 3d modeling and rendering, and others. but in a photo contest, i assume we show what happens between our brain and the film/sensor (viewfinder, aperture, mirror, glass, curtain, etc.)
i mean, the entry #101 is very nice, a snail on a pumpkin looking at the moon, but is this a photo contest or a photoshop contest? (i really like the 101, its very well done, the #64 not so much, for the highlights behind the man's legs, a little shadow behind them could have worked?)
anyway, creativity is a strange concept and the acceptance of that creativity is stranger.
