f-stop is a guess; no recording with the old equipment- maybe that's one reason I like them.
-there's an emerging definition of still life for the purpose of this month's contest wherein it is explained that in a still life you are supposed to arrange the components of the shot for it to be considered a still life. Although I used two curtain rods (to position stalks) and a pair of clippers (to prune to get the best arrangment) I would have to say it is debateable if this constitutes a still life. My apology to all- if I could figure out how to take it down, I would. Lesson learned- next time, I will wait til I get a better understanding of the game.
