Into the Light

This is a large crop, of a Seagull I found down by the river park in Wichita, Kansas. It was a nice sunny day in early December, and the seagulls were gliding the air currents, then coming down for a dip in the river now and then.
The B & W conversion gave this shot a whole new look and was done using Lightroom.

Very nice. I don't remember seeing gulls near the river but I do remember the Canadian geese lounging about.

Out of habit I called the bird in the pic a seagull, when actually it is a ring billed gull that migrates from Canada to Texas each year.
Oh, and there were also Canadian geese in abundance that day all along the river.
