Wind Mill Crown Wheel

This photo shows the interior of an wind mill. You see the large crown wheel. It is surrounded by the wooden brake. The crown wheel drives the pinion wheel that drives the milling stone.

This windmill is restored to working condition and is on special occasions used to grind wheat into flour.
