Sooooo many excellent submissions. I'm going to have to sleep on this and vote tomorrow.

Normally, when I realise that "I don't know much about art", I can resort to voting for "what I like". In this case even that is leaving me without an answer. So many bright shiny things! And colourful! And textured! And just weird! But most of all ... Abstract.

Normally the few outstanding pictures are easy to spot. This will be much harder.

Easiest voting ever! I happened to come up with exactly 17 picks on my first pass. Normally I have too many and have to look through several times.

I think we have covered pretty much every aspect of abstract photography here, from most clear to most complex and expressive.

Top 30 is pretty clear to me. But then there is the challenge of getting the top ones. Innovation is what gets me the most hooked on this kind of photography.

Some unbelievable shots in this one. It's a fabulous show.
Some I can work out. Water and ice, buildings, reflections, sand, oranges, engine parts, squiggly lines, cushions and #62 even photographed his balls.

Yet others have me so intrigued as to what the items actually, are and how they where photographed.

Perhaps after this contest is finished, if all the entrants could post about their photo.
That would make great reading.

Interesting works!

When you leave out the images, that are not "abstract" at all (which are a lot!) - the selection is much easier.
