I spent July 4, 2009, at Whitefish, Montana, on a self-directed rail excursion. The owner of the bed and breakfast where I was staying suggested a short walk to the lake to take in the fireworks. I arrived just in time to catch the many boats as they anchored at the south end of Whitefish Lake and waited for the show to begin. I've never entered this contest before so I'm not sure how to post the photo. Here's a link:

Just received notification that my entry is disqualified because I didn't use a Pentax camera. What a crock. The rules must have been hidden deep in some 6pt type. I haven't used a Pentax camera since 1996 and don't plan to in the future.
