A Winter Canadian National steam locomotive excursion, with CN 6218 on the lead, has dropped patrons off between Georgetown and Acton, Ontario, and backed up to perform a "Run-past" at this location. The date is the Winter of 1971, film is an AgfaChrome Slide, shot with my first 35mm SLR, the original Pentax Spotmatic with a 50mm F1.4 Super Takumar lens. The great show of smoke / steam / sound of mechanical motion was an experience I'll never forget.

My hat is off to you, nice photo, well executed.

You had to get it right first time in those days, no chimping with the camera.

I think I did have an excursion ride behind 6218 when I was very young in the '60s, I also remember a 6167 which was earlier.
