Kings Canyon camping trip, late May 2011.
What a cold surprise waiting for us at the camp site ! The campsite is up around 6500 ft.
During the day it was not too cold, while hiking about down lower in the canyon, we were often stripped down to T-shirts.
Once the Sun went down though, WOW, it got cold !
