A gorgeous sunset in the Cariboo Mountains (B.C. - Canada) photographed from a helicopter:

Beautiful landscape. This is a crop to make it a panorama right?

Thanks jido! Yes, it's a single shot taken through the helicopter's window and then cropped to this elongated pano type view. The upper clouds and the valley were pretty bland, so they had to go... but the peaks and the play of the light on the snow make it an interesting image. I regret not having my wide-angle prime mounted for the flight instead of the regular zoom, but no re-dos in this case

Edited like an artist! Beautiful shot. The mountains look majestic and mysterious.

Thanks captureit! They are called the "Premier Range" for a reason (the major peaks are named after Canadian prime ministers ... well, if you think the Canadian Prime Ministers were/are majestic
