Jan. contest (blue) - title Self in Brass and Blue on Blue Contest Number: 77 Contest Theme: Blue Lens: Promaster 28-200mm F3.5-5.6 Camera: Penta k-5 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F11 01-27-2013, 12:01 PM
This is my multiple reflections in a door knob on a blue door. The sun was coming in from the right side and created a bright reflect on the original. Although I had intended to include that reflection in the end it was cropped out. It was cropped to remove the door frame and key slot as they seemed distracting. The shadow of the knob on the blue door was left on the right side.
The camera is a K-5 with a Promaster 28-300 mm AF LD IF auto focus lens (this is the version with the 72mm filter not the 62mm filter). The K-5 was in aperture priority at F11 - camera was on spot metering.
In addition to cropping tempature was cooled slightly and saturation increase a very tiny bit. Sharpness was also decrease a bit to make the crackles in the outer ring of the knob less prevelent. |
