Excellent photograph in every respect, Martywk; I voted for this, and it was my clear favourite of all the photos in the contest! Perfect control of focus, and an exposure that captures everything from the dark eye to the glow on the back feathers. Not to mention your skill at capturing this endearing moment—great storytelling in just one frame! Love the colours, the reflection ... everything!
