This shot was taken from the street, just outside my home in Okinawa, Japan. The statue reminds me of my roots from New York State. I used a Kenko circular polarizing filter to eliminate glare from the glass windows behind the statue. Actually, the shutter speed was 1/13sec but, the second guy wouldn't let me enter the correct speed. I like to use this photo to explain the Rule of Thirds to travel photographers. It helps explain, where to place the subject in the frame. We have to give the lady room to look out there at something. | |
