Gandhi in the Moonlight
Contest Number: 88 Contest Theme: Rule of Thirds Lens: Tamron 18-200 Camera: K-5 Shutter Speed: 1/10s Aperture: F8

This is a statue of Mahatma Gandhi which was donated to the Museum of Human Rights by
the country of India. The tower in the background is the Esplanade Riel, a pedestrian bridge
linking the city of Winnipeg with the French Quarter of St. Boniface.
It was a clear, cold night but the moon was full so we ventured out. As we were driving to our
destination this scene caught my eye. We turned around, went back and snapped a few shots.
This was taken in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
