I came across this boar in The Piazza del Mercato Nuovo while touring Florence, Italy. Apparently, people think it's good luck to rub it's snout and maybe place a coin in it's mouth, but I was only concerned about when the sun would find it's way in to this narrow street -that was more of an alley, really- and grace this hand polish snout. So, I found myself returning to the area hoping to find that magic time of day...
