Sun over the Tree

Spectacular photo! I can imagine it's -20 degrees and here's a another big storm coming in.

Very very nice! Seems a touch dark/low-contrast but otherwise magnificent. Kind of makes me wanna use it as a desktop background.

The tree: 25% of foreground is expecting to be filled and the entire drama is laid in remaining 75% of middle through upper portion of frame. But the picturesquick story is laying on the right portion of the frame remain untold. Tree’s size is a question to me because the artist is not telling the specialty/kind or the nature of the tree he is using it for an artistic frame, so small tree size would have allowed the artist to cover more dramatic texture of the cloud and scenery, in the entire frame.
Further, I am not sure, but the use of graduated filter in postproduction have left a vertical line of tonal impression of the right-middle location of the frame, which has definitely gave a definition to the cloud but also have left a graduated filter line, which divides the frame.
