The yellow in background are the tulips? Initially was thinking would have been better to have more DOF and see them but the focus on the hyacinth is likely a better choice.

So that's what those are called....they're the first flowers that come up here in Colorado. At least in my yard.

Yes, the perfect harbinger of spring. I have snowdrops that beat them, and an Easter rose, crocuses, and maybe the daffodils... It seems here that the tulips are present, as well.

All of our flowers are on the north side of my house (stupid design, but that's where the flower beds are). The tulips don't come up until May if at all (they've been a bit overtaken by lilies and mint...), and we don't have crocuses (not sure I've seen those in CO, they're not popular here?) or daffodils in my yard. So it's these guys that come up first!
