Nice capture, but not a fan of the single color isolation so would have liked it better all B&W.
The reflected eyes perhaps could have been played up more as an alternative.
In any case, nominate.

It could just be that I also have blue eyes and a kid almost that age and can't wait to see him look out a train window in wonder at the passing scenery. Well captured. I enjoy the color isolation, really draws my attention to his eye and adds a little extra emotion to the scene.
