Photography is so subjective. I would have bet money that Heie's shot would win and it's not even here!

Actually, I am quite confused. If it is going on nominations, Heie's had way more nominations/comments than my entry.

You're right. Something must have prevented the image from showing up when the nominations were tallied up. Due to the error, we will have to reset the poll and start over. Sorry for the inconvenience!

If I notice, for of such and similar "competition", the photos should not you have any information about the author (watermark and similar personal data) !!
Such photos lead other authors in the unequal legal status! I know that a large number of colleagues, will not agree with my opinion !! In international competitions such photos are automatically eliminated!

#7 even is black & white, i still can feel the rush ocean speed and slowly buffered by the coast rock，it can be easily see through the small wave near the crane.... I truly salute that moment.

All deserve a huge round of applause for the thought and care and 'opportunity seizing' (can't think of a better expression)
that has gone into making these pictures.

Personal favourites are 3, 6, 7, 8 and 11. So if my criteria is which one would continue to fascinate me
and draw my eye I would have to choose number 11, but hats off to all of you. Inspiring stuff.
