Silk & Eucalypt Wrap
Posted By: Matthew, 10-31-2014, 01:49 PM

I know that nobody will vote for a spider but I love the way these Leaf-wrapping Spiders make their little homes. They stay tucked away in them all day and even at night it takes a few subtle tricks to get them to come out and show themselves.

I have added this image from flicker for resolution but there also seems to be quite a difference in colour!

The Leaf Roller is very Common Spider down-under, I do personally enjoy your work I will not got to Criticise it because of the colouring attended in the finish product the colouring comes from what you see at the time of taking the photograph. The Colouring of the Eucalypts this side of the EQ, Varies considerably to that of the Northern Climbs;

Amazing what you can do with a built in Pentax flash. I also took some diffused flash shots but got unlucky with the spiders position on those.

Thanks to all those who voted for a spider. I think 6th is my best place to date.

It is a very cool image even though it's a spider. LOL Interesting the difference in the Flickr Photo color.
