Took this shot some time back, using a 100mm Macro with 1.7X TC and 1.4TC, i was about 10-15cm away from this fellow.. really close and head on.. there is no crop to this picture except resize to fit into this page.. Hope u like this...

I love the gold underside of the eyes - I wonder what causes that effect? What a beautiful image. I'm a total sucker for dragonflies!
